What is IELTS?

The International English Language Testing System, otherwise known as IELTS, is a standardised English proficiency test that can be used for entry into English-speaking universities or as part of visa requirements. It is accepted in many English-speaking countries such as Australia, Canada and New Zealand. If you need to take the IELTS test for study or visa purposes, you may be wondering what to expect. What is PTE Academic?

The Pearson Test of English (PTE Academic) is an English proficiency test that assesses your speaking, writing, listening and reading abilities. Many individuals must take it in order to study abroad in an English-speaking country like Australia, or when they wish to become a permanent resident of such a country.
